The standard instrumentation of the core 7-piece band features a truly phenomenal male and female lead vocalist, accompanied by keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone. Depending on a client’s personal preferences, as well as the budget and space allowances for each event, the size of the band can be modified if necessary to adapt to a more intimate setting, or can be expanded to a larger orchestra that may include additional horns, afro-latin percussion, and assorted other instruments. Musicians for a ceremony or cocktail music prior to a main event are also always an available option.
THE JON BATES BAND uses a professional state-of-the-art PA system to present the highest quality sound, with optimum clarity at an appropriate volume. This also allows clients the option of having digitally mastered recordings played during band breaks, and for those who wish to have "Club Mixes" included in their overall entertainment package, or hear a favorite song from their iPod, making that transition is never a problem.
